is true that there is a bug in the new window media 9, that can check if the xp is real version or copy?

I want to upfrade it, any suggestion?

I don't have WM9 installed in my machine.
But I don't think it is true.
Even it is, it isn't a big deal as they can not do anything about it.
They can't just lock your machine and say, hey! get out of Windows!
