在IIS下執行MDaemon WebAdmin

這段時間公司的MDaemon出現一個怪現象，老是收到重複郵件。

不得已到處找資料，搜尋CCF軟體使用區，沒有找到解決的方法，

倒是發現很多人想把WebAdmin在IIS下面跑，卻沒有成功，

正好自已也想裝個WebAdmin，因為MDaemon在win2k的終端下管理很不方便，

於是下了個3.01 en版，嘗試了一下，按照ALTN網站上的說明，在win2k，IIS5下組態成功。

This article explains how to setup WebAdmin 3.x to run via IIS 5.


Procedure
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------


Download WebAdmin from http://www.altn.com/download/
Install WebAdmin. During the installation select the option for I wish to use another web server for WebAdmin
Open the IIS management program (Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Services Manager)
Right-click Default Website and then select New > Virtual Directory
Follow the Wizard as it takes you through the steps of creating a Virtual Directory. The following are suggested names and locations for data to be typed into the Wizard, but will vary depending on installation of MDaemon and WebAdmin.
Alias: 「WebAdmin」. Click Next.
Directory: 「c:\mdaemon\webadmin\templates\」. Click Next.
Click Next.
Click Finish.
Set the Execute Permissions to Scripts Only.
Set the Application Protection to Low (IIS Process)
Click the Configuration button in the Application Settings section of the Virtual Directory tab.
On the Mappings tab click the Add button.
In the Executable field enter c:\mdaemon\webadmin\templates\WebAdmin.dll.

Note: This field cannot contain any spaces. If the path contains a space it must be converted to 8.3 format. The dir /x command will show the 8.3 name for a file or directory.

In the Extension field enter .wdm and select the radio button for All Verbs.
Check the Script Engine box.
Click the OK button.
All other mappings can also be removed if you choose to, then click the OK button.
On the Documents tab add login.wdm as a Default Document and remove all other entries from the list.
Open the MDaemon GUI.
Select Setup > WebAdmin. Set the WebAdmin URL to /WebAdmin/login.wdm
Click Apply and OK.

要注意的幾點：

1.在IIS下新增一個主機或虛擬目錄，路徑為：\mdaemon\webadmin\templates\

2.應用程式執行許可權限設為：Scripts Only.(中文版為只執行指令碼)。


3.應用程式保護設為：Low (IIS Process)(中文版為低)

4.建立webadmin.dll-->.wdm的映射。

5.建立映射時webadmin.dll所在目錄的路徑名必須用dir/x轉換為8.3格式，否則將出現錯誤。

6.預設我的文件設為：login.wdm


7.在MDaemon中設定webadmin url為： /WebAdmin/login.wdm
