NOD32 詳細設定
1 本貼所有設定為我使用NOD32的經驗心得，一般用戶都可以使用，但是每個人的使用習慣可能不完全相同，用戶也可以根據自己的習慣進行必要的修改。
2 本貼雖然沒有太多的技術性，但是請大家尊重我的勞動，如有不妥之處，請指明，不要惡語中傷。如果轉發，請指明轉貼。
3 所有設定中，我開啟了對「有潛在危險的程式」選項，該操作對普通用戶合適，但是一些特殊用戶，如果在電腦中儲存了一些特殊工具，請注意制作備份資料，一旦因為該誤操作導致資料丟失掉，本人概不負責。同時我也在對所有威脅的處理中，開啟了「複製到隔離區」選項，一般情況，可以嘗試到隔離區進行恢復。
4 一些特殊操作中的注意事項，我在設定的說明下方已經用「紅色」加強進行了特使標注，請大家注意。
5 每一貼的個格式均如下模型所顯示：

下 載 篇



1 很多人一直認為找NOD32安裝程序很不容易，其實很簡單的。開啟頁面：


1 我用flashget下載，所以右鍵點擊download。
2 使用網際快車下載。



1 這個就是下載的安裝程序了。
2 點擊「登入到伺服器」，用我們論壇裡面提供的Username和Password，填入即可。
3 「確定」了就開始下載了。



1 已經在下載了，速度還是很不錯的。

3 這樣不是就出來安裝程序了，哈哈。



設 置 篇

AMON


控制中心
1 點擊「AMON」，進入病毒監控設定
2 點擊「設定」。


偵測標籤
1 點擊「附加檔名」，進行設定。



附加檔名編輯器對話視窗
1 選「掃瞄所有檔案」前面的單選按鈕
2 點擊「確定」結束。



方法標籤
1 選「有潛在危險的程式」前面的單選按鈕。




動作標籤
保持預設設定，如圖所顯示即可。




排除標籤，根據自行需要進行增加。

如下圖所顯示增加一個要排除掃瞄的的目錄的方法：

瀏覽資料夾對話視窗
1 選要排除的資料夾，如：Drivers，之後點「確定」結束。

1 則此時固定了資料夾
2 選項「永久地」前面的單選按鈕
3 選項「目錄」按鈕
4 在「已排除的子目錄」處選項「是」，完全排除該掃瞄該檔案夾。
5 點擊「確定」結束。


排除標籤
1 如圖所顯示，此時表示完全排除。點擊「確定」結束。


安全標籤
1 使用預設設定即可，如圖。此時點擊「確定」結束AMON設定對話視窗，完成對病毒監控的設定。



EMON


控制中心
1 點擊「EMON」，進入電子郵件保護。
2 點擊「設定」。



掃瞄器設定框
1 選「掃瞄純文字的電子郵件主體」前面的單選按鈕。
2 選「掃瞄RTF的電子郵件主體」前面的單選按鈕。



1 點擊「偵測」，進入「偵測」對話視窗。
2 選「有潛在危險的文件」前面的單選勾。



1 點擊「附加檔名」
2 選「掃瞄無附加檔名的檔案」前面的單選按鈕。



1 點擊「動作」，進入動作設定對話視窗。
2 處理方式使用預設即可，複選「隔離」選項。
注意：掃瞄檔案類型在繁體中文版上，被完整的列在一起，而在英文版中還是分開的，需要單獨設定。


1 點擊「日誌」，進入對日誌的設定。
2 選「記錄所有檔案」和「同步記錄」前面的單選按鈕。
3 點擊「確定」結束對電子郵件保護的設定。


NOD32系統設定篇


又一次回到控制中心
1 現在跳躍一下，現進入NOD32系統設定。
2 點擊「設定」。



一般標籤
1 不喜歡啟動動畫，所以選項「在啟動時不顯示NOD32啟動動畫」。
2 進入密碼保護設定，點擊「設定」。



變更密碼對話視窗出來了
1 填入密碼。
2 驗證密碼。
3 確定結束。
整個設定現在都受到密碼的保護了，哈哈



點擊「進階」
1 這裡就是對隔離區位置的設定。圖中實預設的，要改的話，就點右邊的瀏覽按鈕自訂吧。



為了自己也要顧及一下ESET吧，好歹是他們提供的保護。那麼遇到查出來的病毒，特別是啟髮式查出來的，也還是傳送給他們做進一步分析的好。
1 所以，點擊「進階設定」


網路預警系統—進階設定對話視窗
1 詢問總是麻煩的，所以「不必提示傳送檔案」。
2 想要一些重要的回覆的就留下你的E-Mail。
3 點擊「確定」結束即可。




1 系統設定部分全部完畢，點擊「確定」回到控制中心。
下一步設定NOD32 On-Demand Scanner了。

利用NOD32防護RootKit病毒！

引:Rootkit走入公眾的視線是因為在SONY 的音樂CD和DVD碟片中發現病毒，SONY本來是利用RootKit技術來防止非法拷貝的。但是黑客們很快從中找出了漏洞，利用它來隱藏安裝的文件、工作行程以及註冊表訊息。

　　Rootkit走入公眾的視線是因為在SONY 的音樂CD和DVD碟片中發現病毒，SONY本來是利用RootKit技術來防止非法拷貝的。但是黑客們很快從中找出了漏洞，利用它來隱藏安裝的文件、工作行程以及註冊表訊息。並借助這些漏洞傳播一些高隱藏性和危害性的程式，從而對使用者的電腦造成潛在威脅。因此，Rootkit類病毒具有很高的隱藏性和廣泛的傳播性，用傳統病毒特徵庫對比方法很難偵測出來。

　　到目前為止此類病毒破壞力並不強，可是卻非常難清除。Rootkit特殊性就在於隱藏了自己的工作行程，甚至是註冊表鍵值都會隱藏起來看不到。這裡說的隱藏是完全式的：病毒有兩個文件，一個「*.exe」和「*.sys」，它們同時執行於記憶體中，可以互相隱藏和恢復。

　　NOD32的Rootkit偵測是基於新一代的智慧式偵測技術的，它是NOD32 ThreatSense技術的一部分。ThreatSense技術是一種非常成熟的基於高階智慧式偵測和未知病毒威脅預防的系統，就算是脫離病毒庫的依托也能有效偵測病毒。所以，我們要預防病毒的最好辦法就是，平時開啟NOD32的實時監控(AMON)，並注意經常更新病毒庫。上網時開啟性能優秀的防火牆軟件，如果沒有防火牆軟件，可以使用Windows自帶的。

的原貼。但是從大家的反饋來看，有幾個地方經常被訊問到，所以我發帖解釋一下，並提供下解決方法吧。對原使用該設置導致了一些網友的使用不便，我也深表歉意。畢竟考慮不周，說明不全。
1 很多人反應，使用了NOD32以後打開網頁的速度明顯變慢，這個是因為我的原設置帖中開啟了HTTP協議保護中的「較好的效能」選項。
需要修改的朋友，請做以下操作。
打開NOD32控制中心——IMON——設定——「HTTP」標籤——設定（「相容度設定」中），點擊綠色的「較好的效能」，此時會自動轉變為紅色的「較好的相容度」，即可。如「圖 1」 所示。
此操作會加快上網速度，但是會降低NOD32對木馬的防禦能力。預定這裡是不打開的，所以很多人說NOD32對木馬防禦力弱。
2 有網友問為什麼在系統工作列區會不時的彈出個半透明的框，提示有文件在下載。這個也是和我開啟了IMON的「較好的效能」有一定的關係。前面已經說了，關閉IMON「較好的效能」的方法。但是如果希望保留「較好的效能」以加強對木馬的保護，又想關閉該提示視窗的話，請做以下操作。
打開NOD32控制中心——IMON——設定——「其他「——顯示，將」自動顯示較大文件的下載進度「前的勾去掉即可，如」圖 2「所示。
3 還有網友，特別是喜歡測試病毒包的網友，問NOD32為什麼不能自動刪除有病毒的壓縮檔，這是和我對於掃瞄處理的設置有關。因為我的設置中開啟了所有的防禦功能，為了防止誤報誤傷，並且導致一些不熟悉使用殺毒軟件的朋友無法恢復檔案，在刪除操作上有所保留。
處理方法：將所有對檔案處理的方式改變為」圖 3「所示即可。
包括該設置的地方有如下位置：
DMON——設定——動作
EMON——設定——掃瞄器——動作
IMON——設定——其他——掃瞄器——設定——動作
NOD32——執行NOD32——動作
最後，再次向因這些設置導致不便的網友表示深深的歉意。

一些關於NOD32的問題解答！！
一、在安全模式進行全系統掃瞄及清除病毒
(1) 重新啟動電腦

(2) 在 Windows 啟動前 連續地按「 F8 」 ( 大概是一秒按一次 ) , 直至看見以下畫面 , 然後選擇安全模式

(3) 選擇正確的 Windows

(4) 確定使用安全模式 , 按「 是 」

(5) 在安全模式中 , 按「 開始 」 -> 「 所有程式 」 -> 「 Eset 」 -> 「 NOD32 」

(6) 開啟「工作管理員」，方法有兩個 :
Open "Task Manager", there are 2 methods:
方法 A: 工具列 中按下 滑鼠右鍵 , 選擇「工作管理員」

方法 B: 鍵盤上同時按 Ctrl 和 Alt, 再按 Delete 來開啟「工作管理員」
(7) 工作管理員中 , 按「 處理程式 」網頁面 , 再按「 explorer.exe 」 , 再按「 結束處理程式 」

(8) 按「 是 」確定結束處理程式 , 然後桌面的「工具列」會清失 , 這是正常的

(9) 在 NOD32 手動掃瞄器中 , 按「 設定 」網頁面。然後選取「 診斷的物件 」及「 ThreatSense 掃瞄選項 」中所有的方格。

如彈出警告視窗，請按「 關閉 」。

10) 在 NOD32 手動掃瞄器中 , 按「 動作 」網頁面。閣下便可以對應不同的物件進行設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 開機磁區 」 , 並按下圖作設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 壓縮檔 」 , 並按下圖作設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 自我解壓檔 」 , 並按下圖作設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 執行時間壓縮器 」 , 並按下圖作設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 電郵 」 , 並按下圖作設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 電郵資料夾 」 , 並按下圖作設定。

在下拉選單選擇「 操作記憶體 」 , 並按下圖作設定。最後按「 檢查及清除 」

(11) 等候掃瞄 , 所見 藍色 及 綠色 的是沒有問題的資迅 , 如果看見 紅色 , 即是發現病毒 , 根據我們之前的設定 , 所有病毒會被自動刪除 , 你不需要按任何鍵指示電腦刪除病毒

(12) 掃瞄完成後 , 按「 離開 」 , 並按「 是 」儲存剛才「 動作 」中的設定

(13) 在「 工作管理員 」中 , 按「 關機 」及選擇「 重新啟動 」即可。

如果你不小心關閉了「 工作管理員 」 , 請在鍵盤上同時按 Ctrl 和 Alt, 再按 Delete 來開啟「工作管理員」。
二、發現不能清除 / 刪除的病毒
有時候, 你會發現一些病毒不能被清除或刪除, 原因是這些病毒正在運作中。就好像你開啟了一個 Microsoft Word 的檔案時, 你不能把它刪除或重新命名一樣。這個時候, 你可以進入安全模式, 在病毒不運作的時候, 來把它刪除。但如果你發現有些檔案在安全模式都不能刪除, 很有可能這些是壓縮檔案。在預設的情況下, NOD32 不會刪除有病毒的壓縮檔。你可以透過以下設定, 讓 NOD32 刪除有病毒的壓縮檔。
註: 在設定中我們會勾選「複製到隔離區」, 萬一你有用的檔案被刪除了, 也可以在 NOD32 隔離區中復原過來。
首先, 開啟 NOD32 控制中心, 選擇 「NOD32」, 再按「深入分析」

深入分析會自動開始掃瞄, 請按「停止」, 以作其後的設定

選擇「動作」網頁面, 並按下圖作設定

在下拉選單選擇「開機磁區」, 並按下圖作設定

在下拉選單選擇「壓縮檔」, 並按下圖作設定

在下拉選單選擇「自我解壓檔」, 並按下圖作設定

在下拉選單選擇「執行時間壓縮器」, 並按下圖作設定

在下拉選單選擇「電郵」, 並按下圖作設定

在下拉選單選擇「操作記憶體」, 並按下圖作設定。最後按「檢查及清除」

圖中所見所有藍色的都是正常的資迅。
而紅色的是發現病毒, 根據我們以上作的設定, 所有感染檔案 (包括壓縮檔), 也會被自動清除/刪除 (圖中箭咀所指位置)

掃瞄完成後請按「離開」, 並按「是」儲存我們剛才作的設定

三、安裝NOD32 後未能上網
解決方法：修復網路設定的變更停用IMON網路偵測，用NOD32作全系統掃瞄 & 用PestPatrol作全系統掃瞄
(1) 修復網路設定的變更
開啟 NOD32 控制中心 ，按左方的 " IMON " 。

在右方版面，按 " 設定 " 。

然後到" 其他 "。再按"網路設定的變更"中的" 修復 "。最後請重新開機。

如仍未連連線上網。請繼續以下步驟。
(2) 停用IMON網路偵測
開啟 NOD32 控制中心 ，按左方的 " IMON " 。在右方版面，按 " 退出 " 。然後重新開機便可以連線上網。

四、掃瞄時出現 c:\pagefile.sys 及 c:\hiberfil.sys 開啟失敗
原因及解決辦法：
這是因為這兩個檔案正在被操作系統使用。pagefile.sys是記憶系統的一部份，所以這個檔案已在NOD32啟動時掃瞄了。hiberfil.sys是休眠系統的一部份，每次使用休眠系統關機時，這個檔案會被重寫。所以這情況完全正常及安全，並不表示用戶的電腦有問題。(在Windows NT裡不會有hiberfil.sys，只有Windows 2000及XP操作系統才會有休眠系統。)
五、設置 Outpost 防火牆
當NOD32嘗試連接互連網時，Outpost防火牆會彈出一視窗，請選擇"Create rules using preset - Browser" 然後按 OK 。

如果Outpost沒有彈出視窗，你可手動設定。
1. 在Outpost的主視窗，選擇Options -> Applications
2. 右擊nod32krn.exe並選擇"Always trust this app"，按確定

六、設置 ZoneAlarm
當你第一次更新NOD32時，可能彈出以下視窗，你應勾選"Remeber this setting"，然後按OK便完成

如以上視窗沒有彈出，請執行以下步驟：
雙按在系統時鐘附近的ZoneAlarm圖示

ZoneAlarm 的主視窗將會出現，按Program Control，找尋nod32krn.exe。然後在Access一欄，選Allow

七、設置 Windows XP 防火牆
開始 -> 控制台 -> Windows 防火牆

在「例外」網頁面, 按「新增程式」

新增 NOD32, 然後再新增 NOD32 Control Center

最後按「確定」

八、收到 "未能置換檔案" 的訊息，怎麼辦？
(A) 系統變數 TMP 及 TEMP 的路徑不存在
(B) 檔案 \Program files\Eset\nod32.000 已損壞
(C) 檔案 \Program files\Eset\nod32.000 被其他應用程式鎖定
(A)系統變數 TMP 及 TEMP 的路徑不存在
1. 請確保以上變數已指向存在的目錄 ( 在 系統內容 -> 進階 -> 環境變數 設定 )
用滑鼠右鍵按一下 " 我的電腦 " ，再按一下 " 內容 " 。然後進入 " 系統 " ，再到 " 進階 " 索引標籤。按一下 " 環境變數 " 。

如環境 變數 TMP 及 TEMP 未被定義，請 新增變數名稱和 路徑 。 然後請 檢查 指定的路徑是否存在。
(B) 因某些原因 ( 例如：磁碟錯誤 ) 檔案 \Program files\Eset\nod32.000 已被損壞
1. 打開 " 我的電腦 " ，然後到 \Program files\Eset\ 。把 檔案 nod32.000 重新命名至另一名稱 ( 如 nod32_bak.000) 。


2. 重新啟動電腦。 ( 閣下可能會收到錯誤載入常駐保護的訊息，不須理會 )
3. 更新 NOD32
開啟 NOD32 控制中心 ，按下方的 " 更新 " 。在右方，按 " 立即更新 " ，然後病毒資料就會被更新。
4. 重新啟動電腦
如閣下懷疑 磁碟錯誤， 請使用 scandisk(Win9x/ME) 或 chkdsk(Win NT/2000/XP/2003) 檢查磁碟。
(C) 檔案 \Program files\Eset\nod32.000 被其他應用程式鎖定
1. 重新啟動電腦
3. 更新 NOD32
開啟 NOD32 控制中心 ，按下方的 " 更新 " 。在右方，按 " 立即更新 " ，然後病毒資料就會被更新

NOD32可以升級，但是就是下載完升級包以後總提示「更新程式模塊發生錯誤(未能置換原有檔案)」，結果核心程式不能升級，無論換什麼版本，卸了裝，裝了卸都一樣.

解決辦法：

檢查你的系統環境變數設置：

1）右鍵點擊「我的電腦」——「內容」——「高階」——「環境變數」——「用戶變數」

TEMP，TMP的路徑一樣 變數值都是C:\Documents and Settings\你的用戶名\Local Settings\Temp

如果C:\Documents and Settings\你的用戶名\Local Settings\裡面有沒有Temp這個資料夾，新增一個；



2）右鍵點擊「我的電腦」——「內容」——「高階」——「環境變數」——「系統環境變數」

找到path，其值應該為：%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem

檢查是否有TEMP和TMP兩項，其值都為「C:\windows\TEMP」 win2000的話則是「C:\winnt\temp"。

如果C:\windows\裡面沒有TEMP這個資料夾，新增一個；


如果有必要就重起一下電腦， 現在按照正常的NOD 升級試試，是不是沒問題了？


問題原因：

1）使用一些優化軟件更改了臨時文件TEMP的位置，NOD32找不到預定路徑；
2）某些清理垃圾的軟件把C:\windows\下面的TEMP資料夾清理掉了！

如何刪除相容性設置內的程式列表

最近經常看到有人問，nod32的imon設置裡面的相容性程式列表很多都不用的了，但還是存在，是否可以刪除呢？其實很簡單。
只要打開註冊表：HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Eset\Nod\CurrentVersion\Modules\Imon\Settings
雙擊UserAgentList，就在數值資料裡面可以刪除掉不要的程式了。退出註冊表看看nod32的設置，沒有了吧～

這個是[轉帖]NOD32 詳細設置（圖解 & 說明）
的原貼。但是從大家的反饋來看，有幾個地方經常被訊問到，所以我發帖解釋一下，並提供下解決方法吧。對原使用該設置導致了一些網友的使用不便，我也深表歉意。畢竟考慮不周，說明不全。
1 很多人反應，使用了NOD32以後打開網頁的速度明顯變慢，這個是因為我的原設置帖中開啟了HTTP協議保護中的「較好的效能」選項。
需要修改的朋友，請做以下操作。
打開NOD32控制中心——IMON——設定——「HTTP」標籤——設定（「相容度設定」中），點擊綠色的「較好的效能」，此時會自動轉變為紅色的「較好的相容度」，即可。如「圖 1」 所示。
此操作會加快上網速度，但是會降低NOD32對木馬的防禦能力。預定這裡是不打開的，所以很多人說NOD32對木馬防禦力弱。
2 有網友問為什麼在系統工作列區會不時的彈出個半透明的框，提示有文件在下載。這個也是和我開啟了IMON的「較好的效能」有一定的關係。前面已經說了，關閉IMON「較好的效能」的方法。但是如果希望保留「較好的效能」以加強對木馬的保護，又想關閉該提示視窗的話，請做以下操作。
打開NOD32控制中心——IMON——設定——「其他「——顯示，將」自動顯示較大文件的下載進度「前的勾去掉即可，如」圖 2「所示。
3 還有網友，特別是喜歡測試病毒包的網友，問NOD32為什麼不能自動刪除有病毒的壓縮檔，這是和我對於掃瞄處理的設置有關。因為我的設置中開啟了所有的防禦功能，為了防止誤報誤傷，並且導致一些不熟悉使用殺毒軟件的朋友無法恢復檔案，在刪除操作上有所保留。
處理方法：將所有對檔案處理的方式改變為」圖 3「所示即可。
包括該設置的地方有如下位置：
DMON——設定——動作
EMON——設定——掃瞄器——動作
IMON——設定——其他——掃瞄器——設定——動作
NOD32——執行NOD32——動作
最後，再次向因這些設置導致不便的網友表示深深的歉意。

在「C:\Program Files\ESET」建立一個「Mirror」的資料夾

天下午實在閒著沒事幹，就到病毒區下幾個病毒試試偶的新組合ＮＯＤ＋卡巴＋費爾～～
但是試了幾個病毒壓縮包裝後我卻發現ＮＯＤ總是不行，都是不報～～
但是在回復中我又看到有朋友說報了，鬱悶啊～～難道是我ＮＯＤ設置不正確，不會啊，高啟髮式都開了啊，真是納悶～～～
在網上ＮＯＤ的相關資料，也沒問題啊，都是正確的啊～～～
這時我突發奇想，不會是我開個三個監控的原因吧～～試一下看看呢
於是我把卡巴和費爾先關了，然後再掃瞄同一個病毒壓縮包裝，果然，全查出來了，唉，原來監控多也會出問題啊，哈哈～～～
但是是哪一個呢～～繼續試驗，先關費爾，用卡巴和ＮＯＤ雙監控，一查，又查不出了～～～
問題找到了，不用說，一定是出在卡巴身上了～～
接著試，這次把費爾和ＮＯＤ雙監控，把卡巴關了，一殺，全查出來了，終於肯定是卡巴的原因了～～
那問題又出在卡巴哪裡呢，心想一定是出在卡巴監控的文件實時保護裡
於是先把卡巴的啟用文件實時保護關了，用ＮＯＤ查殺，全部查出～～～問題是解決了，可如果把卡巴的文件實時保護關了，那不卡巴的監控等於沒用了嗎？？？？裝它除了殺毒還有個屁用啊，哈哈～～
我不死心，繼續．．．．
把啟用文件實時保護勾打上，看文件實時保護裡的高階設置，看到文件保護附加設置裡有一項是〞掃瞄壓縮打包的可執行文件〞，心想是不是在我用ＮＯＤ查的時候，但卡巴的實時保護功能卻把壓縮包裝裡的文件保護了，禁止ＮＯＤ查殺呢？？？不管這麼多，試一下就知道了～～
一試，果不其然，ＮＯＤ全部查出，根本原因終於水落石出了，哈哈～～～
所以我提醒如果和我一樣用卡巴和ＮＯＤ雙監控的朋友最好是把那個〞掃瞄壓縮打包的可執行文件〞勾去了，因為在實時保護這項裡這項並不重要，你用卡巴一定是平時查毒嘍，手動掃瞄的查毒設置裡把這項打勾就行了，一般預定就是打勾的，所以不影響你以後用卡巴查毒的效果～～這樣的好處是能夠很好的充分利用了ＮＯＤ的啟髮式查毒這個功能，朋友，你說呢？？呵呵～～
這些都是本人的各人觀點，僅供大家參考，雖然本人喜歡嘗試殺毒軟件，但說到技術理論方面偶太菜了，哈哈～～

1.修正檔失效，要30天匯入一次，這個最常見
2.程式元件無法更新，這是必然的，因為用修正檔變成試用版，而試用版是無法更新程式元件的，這就導致你一直使用老的殺毒引擎，防毒能力大大降低

4.無法開啟監控
5.最嚴重的，無法上網，甚至卸載了也無法上網

Checking the functionality of e-mail AV scanner can be performed using a test file: eicar.com. This file IS NOT a virus. It is often used to test the functionality of an antivirus system.
If NOD32 system is properly installed on your computer, a red window would appear. This window indicates, that your computer is protected by Internet Monitoring module, named IMON and memory resident(constantly running) NOD32 module. You need to temporarily quit AMON and IMON, otherwise, they would detect the incoming test file and would prevent further steps of the testing procedure. Before quitting AMON and IMON, quit all currently running applications.
To quit AMON: In NOD32 Control Center, under "Resident modules and filters", click AMON, on the right panel, un-tick "Residen module (AMON) enabled", then Amon will be disabled.
To quit IMON: In NOD32 Control Center, under "Resident modules and filters", click IMON, on the right panel, un-tick "Internet Monitor (IMON) enabled", then Amon will be disabled.
The test of the scanner consists of the following steps:
Download the eicar.com file: log on to Internet, and click at the following link: eicar.com. Make sure you remember where the location of the downloaded file is, since, in the second step of the testing procedure, you need to send this file to yourself.
To send the eicar.com file to yourself: open your e-mail program and, in the TO: field, enter your own e-mail address. In the attachment of this e-mail you need to include the file (eicar.com) you have just downloaded. Send the message and wait until it is delivered to your computer.
If, upon receipt of the e-mail with eicar.com file attached, your e-mail scanner detects the file and triggers the warning window, the configuration of the scanner is correct, otherwise, it needs to be configured again. If the problems persist, contact our support at support@nod32.com.
To enable AMON again: In NOD32 Control Center, under "Resident modules and filters", click AMON, on the right panel, tick "Residen module (AMON) enabled", then Amon will be enabled again..
To enable IMON again: In NOD32 Control Center, under "Resident modules and filters", click AMON, on the right panel, tick "Internet Monitor (IMON) enabled", then Imon will be enabled again.

1. Introduction to the problem:
The Control Center runs under NT as a system. The system has not access to the network by default. For this reason are some network clients having problems to integrate it. The updating of the client from the server has always to be performed through an user with the appropriate access rights. The username and password has to be entered in the Control Center on the client the best way in the following form (if applicable):
domainname\username
2. Solving the problem:
a. With the server account
Enter to the Control Center on the client the username and password of the user, which has an account on the server and access, rights to the update directory and check the checkbox "Save password". In this case the Control Center acts as a system and gets the access rights to the update files on the server side. Should this not work, try the case b. below.
b. With the client account
Use or create a local user on the client with the access rights to the server update directory and enter it to the Control Center and check the checkbox "Save password". In this case the Control Center changes identity from the system account to the account of the specified user before accessing the network. With this setup the client network software handles the Control Center as an user and this reduces the incorrect behaviour of the client network software in some cases

11. 掃瞄時出現 c:\pagefile.sys 及 c:\hiberfil.sys 開啟失敗，怎麼辦？ (During scanning I found that c:\pagefile.sys and c:\hiberfil.sys can't be opened, what to do?)
原因及解決辦法：
這是因為這兩個檔案正在被操作系統使用。pagefile.sys是記憶系統的一部份，所以這個檔案已在NOD32啟動時掃瞄了。hiberfil.sys是休眠系統的一部份，每次使用休眠系統關機時，這個檔案會被重寫。所以這情況完全正常及安全，並不表示用戶的電腦有問題。(在Windows NT裡不會有hiberfil.sys，只有Windows 2000及XP操作系統才會有休眠系統。)
Cause and Solution:
If your computer runs Windows NT, 2000, or XP, you may notice that one or two files can't be opened during the scan. Under normal conditions, pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys cannot be opened for scanning because they are in use by the operating system. The first file is part of the memory system, and so is scanned during the memory check that NOD32 does automatically when it first starts. The second file is part of the hibernation system, and gets overwritten whenever you use the hibernate shutdown option. So for these two files, this is perfectly normal, and does not indicate a problem with your PC. (You won't see hiberfil.sys on NT at all, and only on 2000/XP systems that have hibernation enabled.)

After installing NOD32, all inbound and outbound emails via Outlook / Outlook Express will be scanned, preventing you from email infections. By default, NOD32 will append a label in all inbound and outbound emails so that you know NOD32 is up and running. If, owing to some reasons you do not want the label to appear, please refer to the following steps to make the change:

9. 為什麼NOD32在Virus GR 的測試不是如在Virus Bulletin的測試一樣取得100%的? (Why NOD32 dose not perform as well as in Virus Bulletin during Virus GR test getting 100% scan result?)
問題主要在於病毒樣本上.
Virus GR (http://www.virus.gr/english/fullxml/default.asp) 的取本方法是被其中一套防毒軟體偵測出來的檔案就是病毒樣本。
這是很大問題的，因為有一些防毒軟體會把一些正常的檔案誤認為病毒，結果 virus gr 的病毒樣本就會夾雜有毒和無毒的檔案。
測試出來的結果勝出的會是最多誤測 (False Positive) 的防毒軟體，而非最準確的防毒軟體。
不要小看誤測!因為誤測可以使防毒軟體刪除了一些有用的程式使它不能運作，最嚴重可能會刪除了一些系統檔案使電腦不能啟動!!!
所以防毒軟體要選偵測最準確的而非偵測到最多的。
NOD32 至05年10月34次通過 Virus Bulletin (http://www.virusbtn.com) 100% 測試，而 Virus Bulletin 的病毒樣本是從 Wild List Org (http://www.wildlist.org/) 取得的，樣本是真實而可靠的。

The main issue is the Virus Sampling.
Virus GR (http://www.virus.gr/english/fullxml/default.asp) sampling method is a file detected by any one of the antivirus software then it will be put into the sample list.
This is a big problem, as some antivirus software will getting false positive, that will make the virus sample max with virus and normal files.
The software getting most false positive will be the one getting 100% scan in virus GR, not the most accurate antivirus software.
Do not think that false positive is a price of cake! It may result antivirus software remove some program files and crash some application and even crash your system that may not able to boot!!!
NOD32 till 2005, Oct getting 34th VB 100% Awards from Virus Bulletin (http://www.virusbtn.com), while the virus sample is getting from Wild List Organization (http://www.wildlist.org), it is realistic and reliable.

10. Outlook Express 的附件不能開啟
有時候, 你或者會發現電郵中的附件不能開啟 (甚至是自己發出的電郵)。其實, 這並不是 NOD32 把附件攔截了, 而是 Outlook Express 的設定不容許附件開啟。
注: 如果 NOD32 偵測到附件包含病毒, 會直接把附件刪除, 並改寫郵件的主旨來提醒你。

以下設定和 NOD32 並無關係, 只是為方便 NOD32 用家的一個簡單教學。
首先, 按「工具」, 再按「選項」

在「安全性」網頁面, 不要勾選「在附件有可能有病毒時不允許儲存或開啟」, 然後再按「確定」。

重新開啟一次該郵件, 你會發現附件已可以被存取了。
