在你作BitTorrent（簡稱BT下同）發佈前，有幾點希望告訴大家
1、希望大家能夠在發佈後文件保持3-5日，以便讓更多的人有辦法下載到你喜愛的東西
2、最好不要一下發佈太多東西，BT掃瞄文件的速度雖然很快，不過東西太多掃瞄也很慢
3、最好在硬碟上建立一個Torrent的目錄，這樣統一管理就很方便了
4、發佈的目錄最好獨立，我一般建立為BT，在發佈的時候把需要發佈的文件copy到upload目錄下
5、大家發揚BT精神，「我為人人，人人為我」，積極發佈自己的資源。下載完畢，積極當種子。

步驟：
1、下載安裝發佈工具 CompleteDir
2、用completedir製作「.torrent」文件
3、將做好的發佈文件上傳到論壇
4、成為種子
5、堅持到培養出第二個種子


發佈教程
1、下載安裝發佈製作工具。

下載安裝。completedir會自動安裝到系統的Program Files目錄的completedir目錄。
如：c:\Program Files\completedir
2、用completedir製作「.torrent」文件。
把要發佈的文件統一放到一個目錄下，如：E:\BT\upload\0509
然後執行 completedir.exe
「directory to build」框 選要發佈的目錄，如：E:\BT\upload\0509
「announce url」填 http://tracker1.us.slash0.org:6969/announce
「piece size」使用預設值。
以上項目都填好以後，點擊「make」，就會產生一個「.torrent」文件。在發佈的目錄，如 E:\BT\upload\0509 中找到 .torrent 文件。

3、將做好的發佈文件上傳到論壇。
在論壇裡面發貼，把「.torrent」文件作為「附件」上傳。

4、成為種子
雙按「.torrent」文件，按照bt下載的步驟，選項儲存目錄。這裡注意：一定要選項製作「.torrent」的目錄，如 E:\BT\upload\0509\
BT會掃瞄目錄已經存在的文件。掃瞄完畢，BT認為這個文件是完整的，BT就開始上傳，這時你成為第一顆種子，等別人來下載。

5、堅持到培養出第二個種子。
保持BT視窗不關閉，直到有人完全下載完畢，只要他不關閉BT，他就成為第二個種子。
　

BT下載教程（支持斷點續傳）
目錄：
1.安裝BT下載客戶端。
2.尋找BT資源。
3.分析BT資源。(可選步驟)
4.進行下載。
5.斷點續傳。

1.安裝BT下載客戶端
目前BT下載最新客戶端win32版本是 3.2.1，可以到這裡下載。
BT是完全公開來源碼的軟體，所以，大家完全不用擔心BT軟體會包含什麼不安全的東東。

執行剛剛下載的 bittorrent-3.2.1.exe，等一下，就看到安裝完成的提示。點擊「確定」即可。

註：安裝很快，不會產生任何的建立捷逕。以後下載的時候，系統會自動使用BT的。


2.尋找BT資源
開啟論壇的BT資源的貼子，點擊裡面「.torrent」的附件。當瀏覽器詢問「開啟」還是「儲存」的時候，
或者選項「儲存」，把這個「.torrent」文件存到自己電腦上。

3.分析BT資源
下載BT協助工具 TorrentSpy

解開壓縮包，有一個可執行的torrentspy(版本號).exe的程序，執行這個程序。然後找到bt資源「.torrent」文件，把「.torrent」文件拖到 TorrentSpy 的視窗上就行了。TorrentSpy就會對這個bt資源進行分析，分析網路上有多少個種子和同時下載的人。TorrentSpy界面下面的「Complete」後面的數字就是下載完成，並提供上傳的人數，也就是我們通常說的「種子」。下面的「InComplete」後面的數字就是正在下載的人數。大家注意，只有種子具有完整的「文件」，其他的在下載未完成的人，只擁有部分「文件」。「complete」數量為0，「incomplete」數量不為0，是可以下載，但是不能下載完整的「文件」。
所以，我們要根據些數字決定是否要進行下載。

4.進行下載
分析完畢，或者乾脆跳過分析步驟，開始下載。
找到「.torrent」的文件，雙按，系統會自動用BT把它開啟。選項儲存的目錄，確定。
首先，BT會產生一個和目標文件一樣的大小的空文件，需要1到2分鐘，視下載文件大小而定。
（注意：此時download rate 與upload rate 的沒有數值）
然後，分配空間完畢，就會自行下載文件。
（注意：此時download rate 與upload rate 的有0值，這是下載與上傳的速率。初始時下載會比較慢，它會隨著你你上傳的速度增加而增加，因為BT軟體會優先於上傳速度快的人）
另外，如果同時下載的人很多的話，你的下載速度就會很快。當然，你上傳的速度也很快。
（注意：下載完成以後，你就成為了一個種子「Seed」。這時候，不要馬上中斷連線，你可以一邊欣賞下載的影片，一邊開著BT視窗，給其他人上傳。這點全靠自覺。但只有大家都這麼做了，每個人才會獲得最好的下載速度。）

5.斷點續傳
BT自動支持斷點續傳。當你一次沒有下載完，只要關閉BT視窗就行了。下次下載，BT自動會從上次停止的地方開始續傳的。
注意事項：
1、必須要找到上次沒有下完的文件
2、BT會重新掃瞄一下文件，請等一會
3、等掃瞄完畢後即可

5.成為種子(reseed)
我們都希望種子多一點，那麼就要從自己做起。
在下載完的時候，不要關閉BT視窗，就自動成為種子。
或者在別人需要的時候，開啟「.torrent」文件，按照下載的步驟，做一遍，當然不是重新下載，BT就會分析原來已經下載過的文件，分析完畢，就開始提供上傳，成為種子。

da immer wieder Fragen auftauchen und um evtl. Unklarheiten zu beseitigen habe ich mal ne FAQ zusammengestellt. Falls Ihr Ergänzungen oder Korrekturen habt, schickt mir doch bitte ne PN, damit der Thread nicht unnötig vollgestopft wird.

Bittorrent FAQ

1. Was ist Bittorrent?
Bittorrent ist ein Filesharing Tool, das für FTP, HTTP Server sowie IRC Bots. Bittorrent ist schneller als der normale FTP-Download, weil hierbei nicht Alle von einem Server saugen, sondern man shared die Datei die man runterlädt und somit erhöht sich der Download-Speed je mehr Leute eine Datei saugen.
Nach dem Start eines Downloads sucht Bittorrent (ähnlich wie edonkey) nach Leuten die Teile brtauchen, die du bereits geladen hast und lädt diese dort hoch.
Dasselbe funktioniert dann natürlich auch andersrum.
[update] Weils ständig Leute ohne englisch-Kentnisse fragen: Seeders sind die Uploader, Leecher=Peers=Downloader.


2. Was kann ich mit Bittorrent downloaden?
Anfangs war Bittorrent dazu gedacht aktuelle US-Serien schnell zu verbreiten. Mittlerweile gibt es auch Film~ und Musiklinks. Deutsche Links findet man im mom. noch vergeblich. Aber wie überall gilt: Angebot&Nachfrage.

3. Wie benutze ich Bittorrent?
Bittorrent ist anders als ed2k/overnet.
Zunächst sollte man den aktuellen Client (offiziell/experimentell) installieren. Unter Linux bietet sich unter anderem auch noch der mldonkey-client an, der verschiedene Netzwerke (darunter seit neuestem auch Bittorrent) unterstützt. Der experimentelle Client bietet zusätzliche Up-/Download-Kontrolle, sowie weitere Details/Statistik zum entsprechenden Download (#Up/Dwonloader etc..). Danach geht man auf einer der unten gelisteten Seiten und sucht sich ein File raus, das man downloaden will. Dann öffnet man den Link mit einem LINKS-klick. Wenn ihr den Link mit RECHTS-klick speichert, saugt ihr nicht das gewünschte File, sondern nur die Info-Datei zu dem torrent. (Wenn ihr diese *.torrent Datei abspeichert, könnt Ihr den Download auch damit wieder resumen, falls die Seite wo Ihr den herhabt mal down sein sollte).
Nach einem Linksklick öffnet sich dann ein neues Fenster, in welchem Ihr das Zielverzeichnis angebt wo ide Datei gespeichert werden soll. Soblad man das Zielverzeichnis angegeben hat, öffnet sich eine neues Fenster mit dem Download.
!! WICHTIG !!
Lasst den Download auch nach Fertigstellung solange wie möglich offen, sonst stirbt der torrent, und kein anderer kann das File mehr fertigstellen.

Zum Upload MUSS das Fenster offenbleiben, oder falls Ihr zwischendurch abgebrochen habt, müsst Ihr den *.torrent nochmal öffnen.

4. Wie kann ich "RESUMEN" ?
Einfach den Downloadlink erneut anklicken und dasselbe Verzeichnis wählen wie vorher, Bittorrent erkennt dann das vorhandene File und checkt wieviel Ihr schon downgeloadet habt und macht dann dort weiter.
Nicht wundern falls er wieder bei 0% resumed, in diesem Fall hast du einfach noch nicht genug heruntergeladen, damit BT dort fortsetzten kann wo du aufgehört hast.
Oder du hast einfach ein falsches Verzeichnis angegeben.

5. MUSS ich Uploaden wenn ich Downloade?
JA, auf jeden Fall. Das ist im Client fest veranktert!
Und nebenbei wäre es absolut schädlich nur zu Leechen, da dadurch das Netzwerk stirbt!

6. Kann ich den Upload kontrollieren?
Ja, allerdings nicht mit der offiziellen Version. Dies geht nur mit der experimentellen Version. Man sollte aber daran denke, dass dadurch auch der Download begrenzt wird.

7. Wieso geht der Download nicht schneller / mehr Up als Download?
Hier gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten:
- es sind nur wenige Leute vebunden und sharen das File, also können Sie dir
nicht soviel schicken (als wenn es z.B. 100 wären).
- dein eigener Upload ist zu gering, Bittorrent zwingt dich zum sharen, und je mehr
Upload du zur Verfügung stellst, desto mehr Download kriegst du auch. Also
erwarte keine schnellen Downloads mit einem 56kb-Modem.

8. Ich habe einen Link geklickt aber der Download startet nicht ?
Wahrscheinlich ist es ein alter Link, den niemand mehr shared. Bittorrent ist perfekt, wenn viele Leute ein File sharen, aber sobald die Leute den Download haben und das Fenster schliessen, sharen Sie das File nichtmehr. Wenn du die Möglichkeit hast, findejmd. der das File hat, und bitte ihn, nochmal zu connecten bis du es hast.

9. Der Download stoppt bei xx% / "Tracker Error"?
Angenommen 2 Leute haben das File zur Hälfte, und 1 Komplett. Wenn nun dieser Eine Offline geht, und du anfängst das File zu laden, wirst du erstmal von den 2 Leuten saugen, und dann (genau wie die 2) nichtmehr weiterkommen.
Deshalb lasst euer Download-Fenster solange wie möglich offen wenn Ihr Fertig sein.
Trotzdem könnt ihr später nochmal versuchen zu resumen, evtl. kommt ja nochmal einer Online mit den fehlenden Teilen.
Ein "Tracker Error" bedeutet nichts anderes, als dass der Tracker (s.u.) momentan offline ist. Meistens nur vorübergehend, versuch einfach später den Download zu resumen.

10. Kann ich auch Bittorent Files erstellen?
Prinzipiell ja, aber du brauchst zumindest einen Tracker und jede Menge Upload.
Tracker sind Server. Sobald du auf einen torrent klickst, verbindet sich dieser mit dem Tracker und tauscht einige Infos aus, z.B. Wiviel du Hoch-/RTuntergeladen hast, wiviel du noch laden musst, und natürlich sendet der Tracker dir die anderen Quellen für den download. Wenn der Tracker nicht funktioniert, können die Clients nicht miteinander kommunizieren und der download stoppt.

11. Firewall & Ports
Der Client benutzt den Port 6969 zur Kommunikation mit dem Tracker und die Ports 6881-6889 (Incoming freischalten) um mit anderen Clients zu kommunizieren. Und Outgoing nutzt er meines Wissens freie Ports ab 1025-65535.
Bisher ist mit nur ein Client bekannt bei dem man die Ports freieinstellen kann, und das ist der BT++, falls euer Provider also die benötigten Ports drosselt oder blockt,empfiehlt es sich diesen Clienten auszuprobieren.
