WIN2000 SP4不能安裝微軟的java虛擬機嗎?

我下載了微軟的java虛擬機 安裝在我的win2000 sp4上，結果安裝的時候提示如下圖，不能安裝。

你試圖安裝ms vm安裝是一個保護的元件..這執行只能由service pack來更新...

用WINDOWS SP4光碟,WINDOWS XP SP1光碟,WINDOWS 2003光碟安裝的系統均不帶MS VM,可能會造成某些套用無法使用,現在在這些系統上安裝MS JV的單獨版就可以使用MS VM(也可以下SUN的,但用下來對某些程序有點問題).....注意的是!
另外問題（安裝的3805版本），想起以前的討論，翻出來看了一下，重下載了一個3805就可以裝了，好奇之餘，用windiff對比了一下兩個文件，居然沒有任何差別，後來發現原來是檔案名的問題，原來為了方便管理，把原來的檔案名由msjavx86.exe順便也改成了msjavx86.5.0.3805.exe，估計程序執行的時候會檢測程式名，所以報了!那個一個錯誤!
還有....
用集成SP4的WINDOWS 2000安裝系統的用戶注意，新安裝的系統無法使用MICROSOFT VM（JAVA虛擬機）的功能，沒有單獨的安裝版本可供下載！！！！就是會發生!WIN2000 SP4不能安裝微軟的java虛擬機碼....

因新安裝的WINDOWS 2000 SP4系統有些程序無法使用（利用JAVA虛擬機），找了好長時間才發現的。
還有.... ms jaa VM...
今年3月也有更新了一次。至於!ms & sun....
試驗了好幾個利用MS VM的程序，就是沒法在SUN VM下使用!
sun vm 執續有在更新....142.b 新的版本!當然有很多的應用程式
也需sun的支援....很難取捨...可兩個都裝上...............

好多套用要用到,沒辦法,只好用.

題外話:用WINDOWS 2000 SP4安裝系統發現原先的網頁無法瀏覽,找了半天發現沒VM,就到SUN下JAVA VM,還是沒法用,後來沒辦法,只好先用SP3光碟安裝,再昇級到SP4才解決問題.

Although court cases are still draggin on, Microsoft has removed its Java Virtual Machine (JVM) from the Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1). Recently Microsoft released Service Pack 1a, which is the same as SP1, but then without the Java VM.

You might want to remove Microsoft's JVM, since it will no longer be supported by Microsoft.

If you want to remove Microsoft's JVM, and install the latest offering from Sun, here's how:

Select Start > Run
Enter RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection java.inf,UnInstall in the Open box, and click OK

Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the Microsoft VM

When prompted, reboot the computer
Remove the following items:
The \%Systemroot%\Java folder
The file java.PNF from the \%Systemroot%\inf folder
The files jview.exe and wjview.exe from the \%Systemroot%\system32 folder
The registry subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Java VM
The registry subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ InternetExplorer \ AdvancedOptions \ JAVA_VM
Note I: With \%Systemroot%\ is meant your Windows directory.
Note II: To delete a registry subkey, start the Registry Editor, and navigate to the key by clicking on the + signs. When you have the correct key selected, right-click, and select Delete from the menu.



Microsoft JVM is now removed. You can download Sun's JVM for Windows from the Sun Web site.

Note: I got a weird memory access error when the Sun JVM tried to install:



I worked around this by installing an older version (1.4.0_03) which you can find here.

MS VM刪除與恢復的的方法:
1. Select Start ->" Run(R)..." and type the following command.

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection java.inf,UnInstall

2. Click OK and reboot.

3. Go to "Installation of Microsoft Virtual Machine" on this page. (註釋:安裝按上面的方法)
MS JAVA已經停止開發了 漏洞多得很多... 或許你覺的還是選用sun的比較放心

Steps to install the Microsoft Virtual Machine:

Download the file using the links above and save it to your harddrive.
Once the file is on your harddrive, execute it and thus load the Virtual Machine.
As the file begins execution, answer Yes to the License Agreement question and then once complete, re-boot your PC.
