Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 Released!
Windows Media Player 11 is really a huge improvement over Windows Media Player 10. Managing your library is made easier by using graphics all over around. It existed already longer for Windows Vista, but now it has also been leaked for Windows XP.
There is a WGA check on installation, but there are several workarounds. Here is one that i found myself and worked very good:

WGA workaround: WinRAR needed!
-Extract installer (mpsetup.exe)
-run wmp11.exe in folder (not setup_wm.exe)
-restart your pc,
-run three other exe's in extracted folder (not setup_wm.exe)

Test if it works, if not: do this:
-Rename wmplayer.exe in C:Program FilesWindows Media Player to something else,
-Extract wmp11.exe (already in your first extracted folder), and
-copy wmplayer.exe from that folder to your program files folder

WGA 正版XP 繞過法:需要WinRAR解壓縮!
-解壓安裝包(mpsetup.exe)
-執行解壓縮後的wmp11.exe文件(注意不要執行setup_wm.exe)
-重新啟動您的電腦
-執行解壓縮後資料夾內其它的3個.exe執行文件(注意，這裡依舊不要執行setup_wm.exe)

現在您可以測試此方法安裝是否成功了,如果不成功,請做下面嘗試:
-重新命名C:/Program Files/Windows Media Player/下的wmplayer.exe為任意名
-再次解壓wmp11.exe(該檔案存在於您第一次解壓產生的資料夾中)
-複製再次解壓縮後的wmplayer.exe文件到C:/Program Files/Windows Media Player/下
BBS 下面的回覆建議如此安裝：
1) extract
2) run "wmfdist11.exe"
3) restart
4) run "wmp11.exe"
5) run the wmp shortcut
6) finish
or if this doesn't work....
try putting step 5 b4 step 2.
可以在XP安裝？那如何卸載呢？
卸載只能通過系統還原卸載，正在安裝，等會安裝完畢抓圖上來報告

報告：按照以上的安裝辦法到了啟動 wmp 的時候出現了個錯誤提示
"The file wmplayer.exe has a version number off 11.0.5358.4826 where 10.0.0.3646 was expected.
Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled.
Do you want to install the Player from the Microsoft Web site?"
估計按 yes 就跑到微軟驗證 WGA 了，我的 XP 很多修正檔都沒裝，作罷。。。
現在您可以測試此方法安裝是否成功了,如果不成功,請做下面嘗試:

-再次解壓wmp11.exe(該檔案存在於您第一次解壓產生的資料夾中)
