　　這是黑人盲歌星史提夫汪達為電影「紅衣女郎」( The woman in red )所寫的歌曲，也是他最為人熟知的一首作品。不過您若認為這首輕鬆寫意的歌曲，就代表他的個人風格，那您可能小看他了。

　　史提夫汪達生於１９５０年，出生時即兩眼全盲。不過，上天賜予他極佳的音感與創作才能，十二歲時就被唱片公司發掘，隨即推出專輯唱片，震驚了美國歌壇，被譽為黑人音樂界的音樂神童。７０年代的史提夫汪達，逐漸進入創作成熟期，不僅專輯暢銷，而且都獲得相當高的評價，「Talking book」、「Innervisions」等後來都入選為流行音樂史上最重要的一百張專輯。如今在美國，是位地位相當崇高的大師級人物。
