正如軟體的名稱所言,Universal Extractor 是一款近乎於萬能的文件提取器,支持的檔案類型多達40多種.無論是簡單的壓縮檔案如zip、rar、7z,還是軟體的安裝程式如Inno Setup、InstallShield、Winodws Installer,抑或是一些軟碟光碟鏡像如IMG、ISO,甚至某些加殼的PE檔案都可以使用它將壓縮在其中的檔案提取出來.軟體的使用十分方便,只需要指定待提取的檔案和目標檔案夾,Universal Extractor 會自動分析檔案類型並提取完成.通過在資源管理器中使用滑鼠右鍵操作,更是可以一鍵完成提取.事實上,Universal Extractor 的幕後功臣是一大堆的命令行工具,真正的提取檔案工作是由它們完成的(Universal Extractor 本身也支持命令行操作).Universal Extractor 把眾多的命令行工具集中到一起,附以簡潔明瞭的GUI,造就了一款不可多得的優秀軟體.
