執行程式後會出現


再用這個網頁裡面 3. Click here to use the serial number check utility. 把序號輸入看看有沒有受影響(輸入時可在剛剛的軟體裡面所要看的硬碟上按右鍵把資訊複製到剪貼簿在COPY到網頁

Unfortunately, an update is not available yet. The engineers are looking at the issue now, and they are looking at having the firmware updates available, hopefully at the later part of next week. As to which serial numbers of these drives that are affected by this, they are working on a addition to the web site for a serial number checker that should be up by Monday. When the serial checker is online, you can put in the serial number, and it will tell you if the drive associated with that serial number is affected by this firmware issue. If it's not affected, then you'll be good to go. If it is affected, it will say so, then you will need to call into 1-800-Seagate, have the have the model number, serial number, and part number ready when you call. Because this is a large issue affecting a large number of consumers and partners, we would request that you address this issue only when you call, so that we can assist as many as possible and expedite the resolution of this issue quickly.

Rumors flying, sensational headlines, dogs and cats living together. Yes, its another apparent rash of hard drive failures -- this one centered on Seagate's spacious 1TB Barracuda 7200.11 drives. Apparently, the problem lies in a faulty firmware found on drives manufactured in Thailand, which causes them to fail before they're even able to boot up and leaves them completely inoperable, with some extensive data recovery measures the only option for those looking to hang onto their data. What's more, while Seagate is now said to be updating the firmware on newly manufactured drives, it's apparently not possible to update the firmware on the toasted drives, as they're not even able to be detected by the BIOS once they fail. Seagate still doesn't seem to be addressing the issue publicly, however, and as Tom's Hardware points out, they haven't yet issued a recall on unsold drives, so anyone planning on upgrading or building a new PC may want to proceed with caution.

其實我這顆是在電腦公司買,一年之內有問題都可以送修或更換

不知道是流量太大
還是 程式沒寫好
seagate 這次處理事情
真的有點零零落落

硬碟製造商Seagate上週承認，最近出廠的Barracuda和DiamondMax兩款產品出現嚴重問題，受影響的使用者不但失去硬碟中所有資料，這兩款硬碟也無法被裝設的電腦偵測到。

Seagate在網站發表聲明，指出：「一部份的Seagate硬碟可能無法被其裝設所在的主系統存取。」

有問題的產品包括Barracuda 7200.11，容量從160GB到1.5TB，及DiamondMax 22和Barracuda ES.2 SATA硬碟。

Seagate表示，硬碟一旦受到影響，「使用者即無法存取其中的資料，但那些資料並未被刪除。」該公司表示，問題是由硬碟中的韌體所造成，「2008年12月製造的各款產品都受到影響」。

Seagate在聲明中提供使用者自我檢查硬碟是否受影響的方法，但沒有發佈解決該問題的韌體更新。Seagate建議受影響的使用者直接聯絡該公司，他們會依使用者要求提供資料復原服務。

關於這個問題，Seagate官網有更詳盡的資訊。認為自己的Seagate硬碟有問題的使用者，必須主動聯繫該公司。使用者可利用電郵（寄至discsupport@seagate.com）或免費電話，提供硬碟型號、產品序號和目前的韌體修正版等資料。（陳智文譯）

全球最大硬碟製造商Seagate希捷公司坦承多款硬碟韌體有瑕疵，但昨晚在拍賣網站上，仍有被指有問題的硬碟販售。 記者黃義書／攝影

台灣希捷昨天表示，該公司去年12月生產的Barracuda 7200.11、DiamondMax 22、Barracuda ES.2 SATA等產品可能韌體有問題，雖非全部都出問題，但仍建議消費者透過韌體更新升級方式，避免出現電腦開機後無法讀取硬碟資料狀況。

近期各大電腦技術論壇出現希捷特定硬碟產品導致電腦當機的討論串，一位吳姓電腦玩家表示，市面玩家對相關災情眾說紛紜，有人仍正常使用，有人則出現電腦無法讀取硬碟的問題。

希捷強調，此問題不會影響儲存資料，所有資料仍然在硬碟裡，萬一真的無法存取資料，承諾提供免費資料復原服務。

希捷表示，如果不確定硬碟是否有問題，可查詢希捷客服網址，或直撥客服中心電話「00-800-0830-1730」或透過「sfdc.apacsupport@seagate.com」電子信箱，告知產品型號、序號、韌體版本，取得協助。

希捷今年起產品保固期限由5年改為3年，也引起網友質疑；不過，希捷昨天強調，保固期縮短與此事件沒有任何關係。

近半年全球電腦等資訊產品硬碟災情四起，許多用戶抱怨硬碟無故故障。19日，全球最大硬碟公司希捷Seagate在官網上公告承認，已售出的許多型號硬碟韌體可能有瑕疵。

希捷至昨天僅願意替受害消費者更換新品，不願負責挽救無法讀取的硬碟內容，引發全球消費者憤怒，上希捷官網抗議，官網一度暫時關閉，說法逐漸緩和。

日本東京電器街秋葉原許多經銷商昨天得知此事，在第一時間將商品下架，但台灣經銷商起初遲遲沒有動作，引發消費者不滿。消基會董事長謝天仁表示，台灣經銷商應盡快將瑕疵商品下架停售。希捷應有一套完整的補償機制，而非僅換新品或更新韌體，將問題丟回給消費者，「消費者可考慮集體向業者主張應有的權益。」

消費者指出，希捷官網本次公布的問題硬碟型號，幾乎涵蓋該公司全系列硬碟產品，隨時有可能因硬碟故障而損毀電腦內所存資料。希捷19日在官網上表示，近日將釋出改善的韌體供用戶自行下載更新。

目前台灣救援硬碟資料的價格大約自兩三萬台幣起跳，部分救援公司索價甚至超過十萬元，還有硬碟救援公司員工私下戲稱這是「天上掉下來的禮物」。

「即使不是使用該公司硬碟的用戶，也應養成備份資料的習慣。」專家指出，若電腦是近兩年內組裝的，很有可能是安裝希捷生產的這批問題硬碟，應立即備份電腦內的資料，更新韌體前盡量避免關機。

專家表示，若硬碟已故障，使用者僅能在更換新品或花錢送去硬碟救援公司修復作選擇。沒有自行更新硬碟韌體能力的用戶在找到解決方法前，應將所有資料先行備份。
